Marjorie A. Kosoy, Ed. D. is a licensed psychologist active in the Houston Community. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and her Doctorate from the University of Houston. She completed her internship at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Kosoy is a licensed psychologist as well as a licensed school psychologist.
In her private practice, Dr. Kosoy specializes in working with both children and adults. She has also been an ongoing consultant to several private schools in the Houston area. In recent years, her passion and expertise is bereavement counseling which led to the creation of Red Bird Center.
Red Bird Center respects the grief process and provides a comforting place where those suffering loss find acceptance and unconditional caring. Our mission is to guide those in mourning through their journey and encourage hope for the future. In addition, Red Bird Center is committed to educating the community about the grief process.
